Cymbalta.

Cymbalta (duloxetine) can be used by patients diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder or depression, although your health care provider may recommend this drug for a number of other conditions you have. Cymbalta is FDA pregnancy category C – you are not supposed to take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as dangerous effects in the baby are possible. Tell your heath care provider if you have high blood pressure, a history of heart attack, coronary artery disease, kidney disease, heart disease, liver disease, diabetes, or seizures, if you are taking proton pump inhibitors, antidepressants, sleeping pills, quinolone antibiotics, high blood pressure meds, sedatives, theophylline, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, medications for migraine headaches, sibutramine, tranquilizers, medications for irregular heartbeat, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, lithium, antihistamines, medications for anxiety, propranolol, or anticoagulants, as those factors may be important in determining your dose. Report any symptoms that require the attention of your doctor – such as aggressive or hostile behavior, irritability, insomnia, agitation, restlessness, suicidal thoughts, and panic attacks.
